We’re the Lochs!

Thanks for stopping by! I’m Ashlee, the primary owner of this site, and the one who turns our adventure daydreams into reality. Ben (my husband) and I both work the standard 8-5 grind, and when we’re not working, we try to live our best lives at our dream home in Minnesota with our 2 boys, EJ and Ottie.

We joke a lot that we spend every minute of time off from work, and every penny saved on travel. We’ve visited 11 states and 7 countries with our kids and always have the next trip to look forward to. It’s hard to see full time travel influencers or families who have an endless budget see the world and feel like you can accomplish the same things. For us, that’s not our reality but it doesn’t stop us from trying. We’re on a mission to travel the globe – one year at a time … rather, 3 weeks out of the year at a time!
